This gorgeous wedding was held at a restaurant by the beach, near Manly on the north side of Sydney.
The theme was evidently 'beachy' and the colour scheme favoured was blue, white, cream and a hint of red. In Chinese culture the red symbolises good fortune, joy, luck and regeneration.
At Sensational Sweets Buffet we were bursting with ideas and couldn't wait to display our sweet table design for the beautiful bride and groom and all their guests to enjoy.
We began by choosing the blue table cloth to represent water and the branch displayed above the table was hand made from natural branches and red flowers. Throughout the evening guests mingled by the buffet table wrote their wishes for the bride and groom and hung the red leaves on the charming branch.
One hundred guests had an array of lollies and chocolates to enjoy. These included delicious white raspberry bullets, blue m&ms, starfish choc foils, Belgian chocolate seashells, cool mints and sugar coated almonds and blue sour straps and a great assortment of mouth watering chocolates.
At Sensational Sweets Buffet we love experimenting with cupcake recipes and made red velvet cupcakes from a great recipe found on the net. They disappeared in the blink of an eye and no wonder they were lusciously scrumptious.
The heart shaped marshmallows were dribbled with decadently dark chocolate and were a huge hit as well.
We hand designed all the lolly bags, the message leaf shapes, the branch sculpture and candy/sweet tags.
It was a beautiful celebration and the happy couple were ecstatic with the sweets buffet and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we can't wait to design for more occasions.
