Sensational Sweets

This 40th birthday celebration was a dress up theme dedicated to the nostalgia of the 70s. Guests turned up with fabulous outfits, I hear Wonder Woman, Superman, The Green Lantern and Disco Divas attended.

Only fitting was it that the sweets buffet table was designed with this in mind.

Painted milk crates and records were displayed and a specialty table cloth was sewn to reflect a generation from the past.

Popular confectionery from the 70s was included freckles, chupa chups, redskins, snakes, magic crackles, maltesers and popcorn. You couldn’t have a buffet display without roller skates. This mouth watering cake was made from orange and chocolate.

A fantastic evening of indulging in sweets, great friendship and disco dancing made the night unforgettable.
